2. Services
Jelen offers public fish picnic boat tours and private boat tours from Mimice, Croatia. Public tour details, route, timing, included food and drinks, prices, and available dates are shown on the website and may be updated before booking.
The usual public fish picnic route is Mimice, Pučišća, Povlja, and return to Mimice. Route, stops, timing, food, drinks, and other details may vary depending on weather, sea conditions, safety, operational needs, and the captain’s decision.
3. Booking requests and confirmed bookings
Submitting a booking request does not automatically confirm a booking. A booking is confirmed only after Jelen accepts the request and payment is completed, or after Jelen confirms the booking in writing.
Jelen may decline a booking request if the selected date is unavailable, the passenger count cannot be accepted, payment is not completed in time, the booking information is incomplete or incorrect, or the request cannot be safely or practically fulfilled.
4. Prices and passenger categories
Public fish picnic tour prices are:
- Adults: 50€
- Children aged 6–10: 30€
- Children under 6: free, but they must still be included in the passenger count
The online booking request form may be limited to 30 total passengers. Larger groups and private tours should contact us directly. Private tours are priced individually depending on group size, route, date, duration, food, activities, and other arrangements.
Prices are shown in euros. Unless clearly stated otherwise, prices shown for public tours are per person and relate to the public fish picnic tour.
5. Payment
Payment links may be sent manually by email, WhatsApp, or another agreed communication method. Payment links may expire after a limited time, including after 3 hours where stated. If payment is not completed in time, requested seats may be released.
Jelen does not collect or store card details through this website. Card and online payment data are processed by the selected payment provider.
6. Departure time and guest responsibility
Guests must arrive at the agreed departure location before the stated departure time. Late arrival may be treated as a no-show. For public tours, the boat cannot wait for individual groups unless Jelen confirms otherwise.
Guests are responsible for providing correct contact details, selecting the correct passenger categories, arriving on time, following crew instructions, and supervising children at all times.
7. Weather, sea conditions, route changes and safety
All departures depend on weather, sea conditions, safety conditions, technical condition, harbour instructions, legal requirements, and operational availability. The captain has final authority regarding safety, departure decisions, route changes, timing changes, and whether a tour can operate.
Jelen may change, delay, shorten, reschedule, or cancel a tour where necessary for safety, weather, sea conditions, technical, legal, or operational reasons. Reasonable route, timing, or stop changes made for safety or operational reasons do not automatically create a right to a refund if the tour still takes place.
8. Food, drinks and allergies
Public fish picnic tours may include fish, salad, bread, wine, juice, olive oil, or other items depending on the tour. Guests must notify Jelen before booking of any allergies, dietary restrictions, medical concerns, or special food requirements.
Jelen will try to help where reasonably possible, but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
9. Alcohol
Alcohol may be served only where lawful and appropriate. Guests are responsible for drinking responsibly. The crew may refuse alcohol service or take safety measures if a guest appears intoxicated, unsafe, or disruptive.
10. Guest behaviour and refusal of service
Guests must behave respectfully and safely, follow crew instructions, and avoid actions that endanger themselves, other guests, the crew, or the vessel. Jelen may refuse boarding or remove a guest from the tour without refund where necessary for safety, legal, or operational reasons, including in cases of abusive, aggressive, intoxicated, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour.
11. Swimming, sea conditions and personal belongings
Participation in sea-related activities involves inherent risks. Guests are responsible for judging their own swimming ability, physical condition, and comfort with sea conditions. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour.
12. Accessibility and medical conditions
Guests with mobility limitations, medical conditions, pregnancy, accessibility needs, or special assistance needs should contact Jelen before booking so the crew can advise whether the tour is suitable and what arrangements may be possible.
13. Children
Children must be supervised by an adult parent, guardian, or group organizer at all times. Children under 6 may travel for free on public fish picnic tours, but they must still be included in the booking request and passenger count.
14. Private tours
Private tours are arranged directly and may have separate agreed details, prices, payment terms, routes, timing, inclusions, and cancellation terms. Any special private tour terms should be agreed in writing before confirmation.
15. Cancellation and refunds
Public tour cancellation and refund rules are explained in the separate Cancellation Policy. The Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
Because public and private boat tours are leisure activities provided for a specific date or period, the usual 14-day consumer withdrawal right for distance purchases may not apply once a dated booking is confirmed. The applicable cancellation and refund rules are those stated in the Cancellation Policy and any written terms agreed for private tours.
16. Website information
We try to keep all website information accurate and up to date. However, details such as availability, prices, route, timing, included items, and operational information may change before booking is confirmed. The final confirmed details are those agreed with Jelen in writing.
17. Written complaints
Written complaints may be submitted by email to jelenmimice@gmail.com. Jelen will reply in writing within 15 days of receiving the complaint.
18. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia.
